The time has come to finally say goodbye to some old trails in The Gorge.
Thanks to a donation from our friends over at Michelin Tire we've been able to get started on the first major reroute.
The upper half of the "Lower Mid Trail" will be completely rebuilt on higher, and far dryer ground. It will reconnect with the old trail in a dry section after bypassing all the chronically wet areas.

Work started on May 19th and we hope to have the new section of trail finished by mid June. Once finished the old section of trail will be closed, allowing for site restoration back to a natural state.
