This Tuesday February 7th Martock in partnership with the Town of Windsor
Recreation Department and the Trail Shop is presenting The Windsor Winter
Carnival Full Moon Stomp, guided moonlit tour of the Martock nordic trails.
We have close to 30 pairs of free rental snowshoes so arrive early if you
need a pair.
Registration starts at 6 pm. Rental snowshoe fitting and a brief clinics a
will run from 6:00pm to 7:00pm with the hike starting at 7:00pm. Meet at the
Nordic Hut at the back of the Martock parking lot.
The full hike will be under 4K with lots of shorter options. If the sky is
clear we'll have a beautiful full moon to light the trails. The lights from
the alpine trails provide nice ambient light if it's cloudy. Bring a head
lamp if you have one...just in case.
