Shuttle info & parking
We will have truck shuttles on both Saturday and Sunday. We are suggesting people park at the upper parking lot, off of Burgees Mountain Road. There will be room here for some event tents if you wish to bring one and set up a sweet base camp.

Please car pool if possible to cut down on congestion at the trail head.

Shuttles will pick up riders after their runs at the lower parking lot on Bligh Road.

Saturday shuttles will be open to the public so if your not in to racing but would like to get allot of runs in on the trails come on out. On Sunday we are reserving the shuttle for racers and event volunteers.

Saturday shuttles will run you $15.

Race Fees:
The cost is $25 to race or $20 for AVMBA members.

If you need a race license, one-event memberships to Bicycle Nova Scotia will be available on Sunday for $20

Event Schedule:
On Saturday shuttles will start at 10:00

Sunday event registration opens at 8:00 and shuttles will get running at 10:00 so you'll have lots of time to get your two mandatory practice runs in before we start the racing at 12:30

Every one will get two timed race runs. After a short break, awards and draw prizes will be presented at the upper parking lot.

Directions & Trail Map:
The course we are using will run from mid way on the "Main Run" (marked as A on the map, the race starts near the A on the map too)  then turns on to "Elevator Link" (labeled as 5) then connects to "Indian Tail (F) and on to "Leatherman link" (12) before finishing back on the Indian trail.

Course Description & Photos:
The course we are going to be using will be friendly for riders of intermediate or better skill levels, and caters to riders with a good mix of technical riding skills and strong fitness.

We will start out with a high speed section on the "Main Run" where you will get a good sprint o.  There will be a few long, low jumps and some good flat turns. Same goes for the "Elevator Link" section.

When you hit the Indian trail be prepared for ROCK! Lots of rocks. Everywhere rocks as you rail down this rocky road.

After this section you will connect to the "Leatherman Link" for some fast and flowy single track. Expect to see a few small jumps and bridges by race day. Some good off camber corners too.

Then back on to the Indian trail for a sprint finish!
